We are planning to remodel a decent sized kitchen in a Westchester, NY 100 yr old home. Are there any technical reasons to avoid using a relatively affordable Granite (http://tanbrown.org) like Milford Pink instead of using a Brazilian like Giallo Antico? Also are there any special maintenance concerns in using one of these lighter Stone (http://g603.net) s, instead of a charcoal grey Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ??? My wife and (http://maplered.com) I think the aesthetic look of the lighter Stone (http://g603.net) s is big for our house. Our kids are grown, so little fingers are not a problem for us - but, sooner or latter we will probably sell and (http://maplered.com) retire - and (http://maplered.com) a family is the most likely kind of buyer - we certainly care about the property value after we are done.
